Measurement method

1. Shoulder Width: The actual surface length from the left shoulder endpoint, passing through the 7th cervical vertebra point (posterior midpoint), to the right shoulder endpoint.

The shoulder endpoints are usually difficult to locate accurately, and the method of crossing two fingers can be used to find the shoulder endpoints on both sides.

2.   Back Width: The actual surface length measured along the body surface from the left posterior axillary point to the right posterior axillary point on the back.

3.  Armscye: The length measured around the circumference passing through the armpit and the shoulder endpoint.

4.    Upper Arm Circumference: The horizontal circumferential length measured around the thickest part of the upper arm (This data is not required for sleeveless cheongsams).

5.    Neck Circumference: The length measured around the neck of the human body, passing through the shoulder-neck point, the back neck point, and the neck dimple point. It can also be understood as: the circumference around the base of the neck.

6.    Chest Width: The actual surface length measured along the body surface from the left anterior axillary point to the right anterior axillary point on the front of the body.

7.    Bust Circumference: The horizontal circumference measured around the fullest part of the chest.

8.    Waist Circumference: The horizontal circumference measured around the narrowest part of the waist.

To find the narrowest part of the waist, you can use the method of pressing smoothly with your palm to feel it, as shown in the figure.

9.     Hip Circumference: The horizontal circumference measured around the fullest part of the hips.

10.    Front Waist Length: The actual surface length on the front of the body from the shoulder-neck point, passing through the bust point, to the vertical waistline.

When measuring the waist length, you can first use a thin string to fix the position of the waistline.

11.    Back Waist Length: The actual surface length on the back of the body from the shoulder-neck point to the vertical waistline.

12.    Bust Point Height: The actual surface length from the shoulder-neck point to the bust point (The orange line indicates the bust point height).

13.    Bust Separation: The horizontal distance between the two bust points.

14.    Hip High Line Length: The actual surface length on the back of the body from the shoulder-neck point, vertically along the body surface, to the highest point of the hip.

15.    Back Midpoint to Back Waist's Most Concave Point: The actual surface length along the body surface from the back neck point to the most concave point of the back waist.

16.     Sleeve Length: The actual surface length from the shoulder endpoint to the position corresponding to the sleeve length required by the customer.

17.    Skirt Length: The actual surface length from the back neck point to the position corresponding to the skirt length required by the customer.
